Please take note of the following items that were stolen from two separate isolated locations:
- A Black colour, Marina outboard motor, stolen at some point in the last five days from a farm building off the A35 near Bloxworth. (Ref C:15:D:014613)
- An Xbox games console, stolen last night from commercial premises off the A35 near Organford. (C:15:D:014909)

An update (see previous post) on the scam phone calls Purbeck is experiencing at the moment: Scammers are also claiming to be calling from Harrods, London and saying someone there is trying to buy an expensive item using your debit/credit card etc. As usual our advice is hang up the moment a caller asks for your bank details
Thieves broke into a Bere Regis business over the weekend, probably late Saturday night, and several large garden ornaments were stolen. This theft would have undoubtedly required several persons and a suitable vehicle.

We are currently receiving further reports of scam calls in this beat area. If you know of anyone elderly or vulnerable in this area then please make sure that they are aware of this scam. These people call the elderly and pretend to be police officers, bank employees or other persons of note and inform them that there is a problem with their bank account (or similar). Please DO NOT pass money to strangers or give out any information at all and call the police from a different phone.
Tell your neighbours, friends and relatives………the more people who know the better.
Between Wednesday 4th March and Friday 6th March a burglary occurred in the area of Huntick Road Lytchett Matravers. The property is in a remote location and the offenders forced entry through a door and stole an expensive GoPro camera.

Overnight between Friday 6th March and Saturday 7th March several cars were damaged in the area of Lockyers Way Lytchett Matravers. Offenders have punctured several tyres on nine cars with what looks to be a knife. Please ensure that you remain vigilant and if you see any suspicious behaviour please call 101 or if you see an offence taking place please call 999.

Over the weekend between Friday 27th March and Sunday 1st March cars were targeted in the area of Foxhills Cresent, Lytchett Matravers. This is more than likely an anti social act rather that a theft however this can be quite costly for the victim. If you see anyone acting in a suspicious or disorderly manner around a vehicle please contact Dorset Police on 101 for non emergencies and 999 for an emergency.
Between Saturday 24th January and Thursday 29th January there was a theft from a vehicle in the area of Organford Road. The vehicle was parked on the victims drive. Offenders gained entry and stole £30 loose change. Please ensure that you do not leave anything in your vehicle.

Between Thursday 15th January at 4 PM and Friday 16th January at 4 PM an attempted vehicle break-in occurred in the area of Foxhills Crescent, Lytchett Matravers. Offenders attempted to use a key to gain entry to the vehicle but it snapped off in the lock so entry was not gained.
